NEMA 34 stepper motor is a stepper motor with 3.4 x 3.4 inches (86 x 86 mm) faceplate. GEMS offer high performance round body models and high torque square models. The high torque type generates torque of approx. 2 times the level achieved by the standard type. The maximum holding torque of NEMA 34 steppers is up to 1550 oz-in (11 Nm). Other than the series and parallel bipolar configuration, GEMS provide unipolar configuration which adds an extra wire in the middle of each coil. Unipolar stepper motor significantly reduces the complexity of motor driver. We also offer NEMA 34 stepper linear actuators and a large selection of planetary and spur geared stepper motors for you to choose from.
